Rocking Horse Academy is dedicated to helping our newly independent toddlers get ready for a more structured approach. We have a program infused with what research says is best for early learning. As children make developmental leaps and build skills for the future, our classrooms offer an atmosphere of learning.

Our teachers know toddlers gain confidence by embracing new experiences and practicing new skills. Center time and tabletop activities are some small group activities our teachers use to encourage choices in play and minimize overstimulation. We also focus on developing their social and individual skills. Rocking Horse Academy teachers support your children as they navigate their first relationships and begin to create their own identity by exploring empathy, pretend play, and social roles.

A major emphasis during the toddler years is on developing language. Our teachers use conversation to encourage speaking, thinking and comprehension. We practice language skills in English, Spanish and American Sign Language.

Rocking Horse Academy knows the importance of building self-confidence and fostering the natural curiosity during the toddler years, and we look forward to supporting the developmental needs of your growing toddler.
