Rocking Horse Academy’s young toddlers’ program has been carefully designed to help children transition from infants to children preparing for preschool. The children participate daily in age-appropriate activities geared towards developing their self-confidence and self-help skills. Our focus for the Toddler-aged child is continuing gross motor development, building verbal skills, and encouraging positive social behaviors. The children learn about everything around them.
Our Toddler staff is comprised of qualified teachers who pledge to encourage play that stimulates learning. The introduction of circle time, center time, and table-top activities not only prepares your child for his/her future classrooms but also instill concepts of sharing, manners, listening and communication skills.
Daily communication with our parents is vital to the success of your child. Not only will we keep the family informed of food eaten, naps taken, and diapering, our teachers also make sure to communicate your child’s experiences and behaviors in an electronic daily report with all the details you need to know.
